Product Q&A

Ask a Question

If any one knows or could give me a link to a website showing how to get to the roller catch on the main oven door. This would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to take apart what does not need to be taken apart.

On your model remove the top hinge to lift the door off and then remove the screws holding the two parts together to access this catch

We believe you will need to remove the side panel by taking out the three screws on the back edge and the three screws on the front edge of the panel. Note if the new catch does not appear to have 'threads cut' for the screws it may be normal as the old screws will cut there own threads as you put them in.

Remove the door and take off one of the caps on the frame. Unscrew the catch and slide it out. Slide the catch down the frame into position and use screwdrivers or whatever to hold in position while you attach the screws. Then reassemble as required.

To fit the catch it will be necessary to remove the right hand side panel. We have filmed a video on a similar cooker that should be available in the next few weeks.

If you cannot locate the lock in the door frame take the door off and slide it into the channel. The screws will cut the threads in the lock itself.

To replace this you will have to remove the side panel. The threads for the fixing screws will be tapped by the screws when fitting.
